KFC Potato Wedges

 

Serves: 5-6 pax 

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 potatoes
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika (I swapped with cayenne powder)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Steps:
  1. Cut potatoes into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick wedges
  2. Prepare 2 big bowls
  3. Bowl 1: whisk milk and egg
  4. Bowl 2: mix in flour, salt, pepper, paprika/cayenne, garlic powder
  5. Soak the potatoes in the milk mixture
  6. Heat up oil in a pot (easier to fry, no need so much oil)
  7. Remove potato from mixture and toss in flour
  8. Fry until golden brown and crispy (around 10-12 mins)
