Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- Ground pork - 600g
- 3 big Onions (diced very small)
- 1/2 big Turnip (diced very small)
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Five Spice Powder 五香粉
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 5 tbsp Corn Flour
- Soya Sauce
- Salt
- Rice Flour (coating)
- Plain Flour (coating)
Cook
- Dice up onions and turnip
- Mix in pork, onions, turnip, egg, 5 spice powder, sugar, oil, corn flour, soya sauce and salt to taste
- On a separate dry plate, mix 1 part rice flour with 1 part plain flour
- Roll the mixture into about 2 inches diameter balls (bite size) and coat with flour before frying
- Fry for 7-9 mins on medium low heat (or until golden brown)
