Ingredients
- Glutinous Rice - 3 small cups
- Shiitake Mushroom - 5 pieces (Large)
- Dried shrimps - 2 tblspoon
- Lap Cheong - 2 sticks
- Garlic - 3-4 cloves
- Spring Onion (garnish)
Seasoning
- Soya sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Sesame seed oil
- Oyster sauce
- Water use to soak mushroom
Preparation
- Wash & soak rice for 5 hours
- Wash & soak mushroom at the same time (don't throw water away, use for cooking later)
- Dried shrimps wash and chop into smaller chunks
- Cut up garlic, lap cheong, spring onion and mushroom
Cook
- Put oil and fry the garlic
- Add in dried shrimp, lap cheong and mushroom
- Add in rice and seasoning
- Gradually add water (about 1 big bowl) to simmer and cook
- Sprinkle spring onion before serving
- (optional) steam the rice to re-heat before serving
